- Can I mount the camera on a crib or wall?
Yes. The camera can be mounted using the included flexible arm mount, wall mount hardware, or placed on the freestanding stand. Always follow the installation instructions in the user manual.
- How do I mount the camera to a crib using the flexible arm mount?
Clean/dry the surface, apply the rectangular mounting plate (3M adhesive), and for added stability, use the included screws (ensure crib thickness exceeds screw length).
- How high should the wall mount be installed?
Recommended height is a minimum of 13 inches (33 cm) above the crib mattress.
- Does the rectangular mounting plate have an “up” direction?
Yes—ensure the arrow is pointing upward before attaching to crib or wall.
- How do I route and secure the power cord safely?
Insert the USB-C power cord with safety cord covers into the base, slide the arm mount into the plate so no cord is exposed, and install cord covers so no cord is exposed for at least 20 inches (51 cm) below the top of the crib mattress.
- Why are safety cord covers required?
Safety cord covers help reduce the risk of strangulation by keeping power cords fully secured and out of a child’s reach.
- Are the safety cord covers compatible with all cribs?
The included safety cord covers are designed for flat surfaces only and are not compatible with round crib rails.
- The cord covers won’t stick well—any guidance?
Ensure the mounting plate and cord covers are applied to a clean, dry surfaces and pressing firmly.
- Can I use the camera without the safety cord covers?
No. The camera should never be used without the included safety cord covers properly installed.
- How far should the freestanding camera stand be from the crib?
Position the camera no closer than 3 feet / 1 meter from the crib and confirm the camera is focused on the child’s activity area.
- Is the camera safe to use around infants?
Yes, when installed correctly according to the instructions. The camera meets applicable safety and RF exposure standards.
- Can I use an extension cord with the power adapter?
No. Never use extension cords with adapters; use only the provided adapters plugged directly into the wall outlet.
