We do not recommend using the domestic Dohm internationally at all. The voltage for our Dohm is 120V 60Hz and these units run on approximately 18 watts of electricity. We have found that even with a "low wattage" converter our domestic units will not work, or if they do it is only for a short period of time. It's to our understanding that only the voltage is converted on US Military bases and not the frequency. This would mean that the power source would be 120VAC, 50Hz. Our Dohm is only rated to work at 120V, 60Hz, and is listed by UL for operation at the specific voltage/frequency combination. As a solution we could offer one of the following:
1. We offer a 240V Dohm Classic sound machine that can either be supplied with EU or UK plugs. Please note that this will not work with a converter in a 120V electric grid so this may not be the best option if your location is operating at 120V 50Hz.
2. You could try one of our electronic sound machines, specifically the Whish™ Multi-Sound Machine. It offers 16 different high-resolution digital recordings to choose from, including our signature Dohm sounds.
3. Our Zohne offers waves or constant noise and has a sliding control for a wide volume range. It comes with US, EU, UK, and Australian plug adapters and has a cord built for dual voltage (12V DC or AC).
